Maryse graces the cover of Summum Magazine for the third time. The issue will be released this Friday.

The original plan was that Maryse was gonna step in, boot Cherry out, and she was gonna modernize us. You know what I mean? She was going to take us out of the ’50s. Have us roll in BMWs and Mercedes instead of a 1957 Chevy. That was kind of the idea. That didn’t really pan out.

On tonight’s Raw, when Maryse cut a promo on Gail Kim in french, she basically said: you smell like garbage, it’s terrible, I can smell you from 100 feet away, I pity you, you’re a little girl, your a nobody, your a nobody.

That crafty Bob Kapur was so desperate to spend extra time with WWE diva Maryse that he somehow convinced the SLAM! Wrestling editors to let him get questions from the readers to prolong his interview with her. Here is the result of that session.

Carl: How how long have you been training to be a wrestler and who was your trainer?

Maryse: I did almost a year in Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky with Al Snow. Then I was transferred to Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa with Steve Keirn and Tom Pritchard. Now, being on the road, it’s Fit Finlay and Ricky Steamboat. I really love Fit Finlay, he’s like the master. You ask him for a hold, and he’ll come up with another one and another one. He must know about 10,000 of them, it’s insane. I don’t really use a thousand holds, but I still love to get in the ring with Fit and learn from him.

Marty Goldstein, Oakville, ON: When you were in training, did you ever come across or even get some useful ideas/tips from famous Quebecer wrestlers like the Vachon women or Edouard Carpentier or even the Rougeaus?

Maryse: I never really got a chance to talk to any of them. Hopefully one day.

dialblo2002: Do you speak Spanish?

Maryse: It’s weird. I can read it pretty well — French and Spanish are very similar — but I can’t speak it.

William, Scotland: How disappointed were you to miss the Breaking Point PPV in your hometown of Montreal due to injury? I imagine it would have been a great feel good moment for you to go into that big event in your hometown after such a successful year.

Maryse: I was really sad. Hopefully next year, we will do a pay-per-view in Montreal. I can’t wait to see the reaction in my hometown, especially with all my family and friends there. I wish WWE will be back to Montreal in 2010. The crowd is just insane there.

TJ Protheroe, Ashley Leroux: Can you explain what the tattoo on your left wrist is?

Maryse: It says “Guy,” which is my father’s name.

Ashleigh, Nancy, Samara: What would be your advice to girls who want to become a WWE diva?

Maryse: I would say to try it, and if you think you can do it, don’t quit. It’s a lot of time, energy, and focus. It’s like Hollywood movie stars — you can say they lead a glamourous life, but it’s a lot of work. They’re on set for 16 hours a day, then they go home and they still study. They have a nice paycheque at the end, but they do work a lot. WWE is very much like that. People may see us on TV for only five minutes — but there’s a lot going on behind that five minutes. There’s 15 hours of work around it.

Peter, numerous others: Which diva would you like to wrestle, but haven’t?

Maryse: Lita.

Aaron, Ben, numerous others: Are you ticklish? If so, where?

Maryse: My feet. (Giggles) Every time I get a pedicure, I’m just laughing for 45 minutes.

Stephen Cervantes: What kind of music do you like to listen to on the road and to help prepare you for a match?

Maryse: I listen to a little bit of everything. I like techno music, which isn’t really popular in the States, so it makes people laugh, they make fun of me for it. Before the match, right before I’m going through the curtain, I tell myself that there’s only one Maryse, and it’s me. It’s like turning the bitch switch on (laughs).

Angie Candi: On Twitter you mentioned that you love to eat candy. How does your body looks so good then?

Maryse: I eat a lot of Chicken McNuggets, which are full of protein (laughs). No, seriously, I train probably two or three times a week. I’m also lucky that my parents have good genetics — so, thanks, Mom and Dad!

Réda Benameur: Do you like the Montreal Canadiens?

Maryse: Yes! Unfortunately, it’s been about five years since the last time I saw a game at the Bell Centre. I love going there, the fans are crazy.

Keith: Would you ever consider becoming an American citizen someday?

Maryse: Maybe a dual citizenship. I would never want to give up my Canadian citizenship, I’m very proud of it, especially being a French Canadian. It’s not something I’ve thought about, but I wouldn’t say no.

Andy J.: What’s the strangest thing a fan has ever said to you?

Maryse: I was in Kentucky, and a guy asked me to sign his car. He handed me this huge Sharpie marker, and he asked me to sign this yellow ’70s Mustang. I got really nervous, because I was asking myself if this was really his car — what if it wasn’t, maybe it’s some random stranger’s. Can you imagine, you go to your car, and there’s a signature on it? I signed my name across the hood. That was the weirdest thing ever.

Ashley Leroux: Are you allowed to swear in French in the ring since no one can practically understand?

Maryse: I don’t swear, so no. (Pauses to think) I guess nobody would know, though … (thinks about it further) but there are millions of people around the world that speak French that would understand it if I did.

8:29 Maryse: (Question from Joey: Do you find McIntyre or Morrison more attractive?)

8:31 Maryse: McIntyre because he is taller but I do not like long hair so I would not go out with either of them.

8:35 Maryse: All of you men SHOULD love me.

8:39 Maryse: Trish Stratus is a cassette player and I am the newest version of the iTouch.
