Let’s face it, it’s pretty easy to despise Ted DiBiase. Not only does The “Fortunate Son” have good looks, heaps of cash and a gorgeous Diva on his arm, he also still manages to squeak out victories. This week, he faced John Morrison, who gave him a run for his plentiful money.

When DiBiase’s “protector” Maryse attempted to interfere with the match, Morrison’s pal and SummerSlam teammate R-Truth tried to assist. The help backfired, though, and cost The Shaman of Sexy the match. In the wake of the loss, Morrison verbally lashed out at Truth, offering further evidence that Raw’s seven-man SummerSlam squad may be in danger of unraveling.

Eve def. Maryse
For Eve, it was time for redemption. One night after losing a Divas Title Match to Alicia Fox, the Latina lovely seemed eager to prove herself against longtime tormentor, Maryse. With Ted DiBiase looking on from ringside, Eve capitalized on a questionable call by the referee to win the bout. Afterward, as DiBiase and his “protector” Maryse argued with the ref, John Morrison swooped into the ring and landed Starship Pain on The “Fortunate Son” before exiting a satisfied man.

Brie & Nikki Bella def. Maryse & Jillian
Over the last month, Jillian has suffered three losses thanks to the mischievous Bella Twins. That’s why the tone-deaf Diva enlisted the vicious Maryse to help her take out Nikki & Brie, but even the French-Canadian Diva couldn’t solve Jillian’s problems. Although the aggressive blondes were particularly brutal with their opponents, they couldn’t combat the sister act. In the end, Jillian was rolled up for yet another loss to the beautiful Bellas.

John Morrison scuffled with Ted DiBiase
With his sultry security, Maryse, at his side, Ted DiBiase spoke (down) to the WWE Universe, telling them that he will emerge victorious in the Raw Money in the Bank Match. Having heard enough, John Morrison confronted The “Fortunate Son,” who squeaked out a win the week before thanks to a meddling Maryse. Before long, the two Money in the Bank competitors were exchanging blows. Just as The Shaman of Sexy prepped to land Starship Pain on DiBiase, Maryse dragged him away, earning her keep.

The “Fortunate Son” faced off against his fellow Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match participant, John Morrison, as his sultry security looked on. While The Shaman of Sexy’s attack appeared as tight as his abs, he became distracted when Maryse began to model his coat. The diversion allowed the prosperous progeny to capitalize and notch a cheap victory.

Divas Champion Alicia Fox & Maryse def. Eve & Gail Kim
One day, when scientists discover the center of the universe, Alicia Fox will be sorely disappointed to learn that she is not it. No matter. Ever since emerging victorious at Fatal 4-Way and capturing the Divas Championship, Fox has revealed herself to be positively unbearable. After teaming with Maryse against Eve & Gail Kim and scoring the pin for her team, Fox’s ego is sure to inflate beyond Marysian proportions.

Ted DiBiase knows money – and looks. After a dismal performance at Fatal 4-Way for he and bodyguard Virgil, The “Fortunate Son” canned his manservant and opted for an “upgrade.” After Virgil’s dismissal, DiBiase introduced Maryse as his new source for “protection.”

There was a slight change of plans for John Morrison. The Shaman of Sexy was scheduled to compete against Ted DiBiase, but The “Fortunate Son,” with his new assistant Maryse in tow, informed Morrison that he had “other plans for the night.”

Divas Champion Eve & Gail Kim def. Alicia Fox & Maryse
Just six days before these sexy, smart and powerful ladies compete in a Fatal 4-Way Divas Championship Match, Eve teamed with Gail Kim against Maryse & Alicia Fox. While resident Mean Girl Maryse triumphed last week in the Viewer’s Choice Diva Battle Royal, reigning champion Eve wasn’t about to let herstory repeat itself. The martial arts maven leveled Alicia to secure the win for her and her partner Gail. This Sunday, however, it’ll be every woman for herself.

Maryse won a Viewer’s Choice Divas Battle Royal
At the request of 73 percent of the WWE Universe, 12 smart, sexy and powerful WWE Divas participated in an explosive Divas Battle Royal. After evading early elimination by The Bella Twins, conceited Canadian Maryse spent most of the match taking out her frustrations on Eve, eliminating the reigning Divas Champion with Jillian’s help before tossing the vocally challenged Diva out of the ring to win the contest.

Santino Marella & Divas Champion Eve def. William Regal & Maryse
Santino Marella got one step closer in his quest to convince Vladimir Kozlov to team with him. When the spicy Italian teamed with Divas Champion Eve against William Regal & Maryse, Kozlov looked on from ringside. Perhaps motivated by a hollow promise made by Santino that Eve would sleep with him, The Moscow Mauler head-butted Regal. The Englishman dropped like a sack of crumpets, and a stunned Santino quickly covered him for the win.
